What is a Certified Residential Specialist?

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
 

Since 1977 the Council of Residential Specialists has been conferring the CRS Designation on agents who meet its stringent requirements. Currently, there are more than 34,000 active CRS Designees.

What is an ABR?

An ABR designation is granted to a real estate professional that has completed specific courses of study and passed examinations on specific buyer brokerage issues as well as has demonstrated proficiency in completing numerous Buyer Brokerage transactions.

The ABR designation stands for Accredited Buyer Representative and is granted exclusively by the REBAC Organization (Real Estate Buyer’s Agency Council).

ABR designated professionals must adhere to high standards of service and professionalism as well as keep their knowledge about buyer brokerage issues current. Although all ABR’s are not exclusive Buyer agents, it usually pays to hire a specialist, especially when small mistakes can result in the loss of thousands of dollars.

I have chosen to represent buyers as an Exclusive Buyer’s Broker because it creates the best  professional framework and affords the highest degree of protection to my clients.
